 The hotel provided a good level of accommodation at a very reasonable rate. The facilities were good and the staff friendly and willing to help with any enquiry.- 01-Apr-2008 This hotel is in a good location, only 5 minutes walk from the Central station and near lots of shops and restaurants. We stayed in a triple room and it was really clean and spacious. The breakfast is great and the hotel was fine with us leaving our bags in a room until we caught our flight. As the hotel is on a main road there is noise from the tram and street etc but it didn't keep us awake at night. Would definitely reccommend getting the 'I am amsterdam' card. Go and see Boom Chicago comedy show and have a free cocktail at Bols Coctail Museum.- 13-Mar-2008 The Avenue hotel is in a very good position, it is only a 5 min walk from central station and very close to the main shoping area and Dam square etc. The hotel is kept clean and the staff were very polite and helpfull, the only downside to this hotel is that the rooms are very small but i think this is due to the fact that the hotel is made up from a row of propertys knocked together. In all i would recomend this hotel as a good base to explore amsterdam.- 20-Sep-2007 |
