 Really quaint hotel. We really liked it. If you're used to big "corporate" hotels it may not measure up - bathrooms quite basic, rooms quite "cosy" i.e. small. Staff friendly and helpful. No restaurant but got coffee and toast in the morning in a communal area. Great location if you want to be a little out of town but easy tram ride into town for a mere $1.25.- 11-Jun-2008 Great place. Good restaurants on either side. Very convenient.- 09-Mar-2008 I was very surprised with the quality of room at Avenue Garden. The rooms are spacious and clean. You'll get fresh clean towels every day. Staff are friendly and helpful. It may be a little far from the French Quarter but otherwise it is in a safe and vibrant location.
