 The hotel matched the reviews we had read: friendly english speaking reception, facilities worn but clean, excellent location for the price, extremely noisy (we had brought ear plugs in anticipation & used them). The hotel car park (Euro 13.60 per day) only fit 10 cars so book ahead if you need to use it. The breakfast is mediocre (hot items only comprising of baked beans & mini frankfurters) but the coffee & bread are excellent.- 03-Jan-2008 Even though the hotel had internet access there was not the use of a printer. As I had to "check in on line" for my return flight and print the Boarding Card this was not helpful and me meant trying to find an internet cafe with print facilities in Barcelona which I had never visited before. I did find a good one just off the Ramblas which was cheaper.- 22-Nov-2007 The hotel needs to be renovated. The room is very small and basic, and the bathroom is a little bit old. Our room faces to the main road, it's quite noisy day and night, even we closed the window, it didn't help much. But the bed was comfortable, and we were too tired, so it's still ok for us. The breakfast buffet is very very good. And the location is excellent, the metro station is just in front of the hotel, only after 3 stops, you'll be at the city centre Catalunya Plaza, you can take the airport bus or city sightseeing bus there. From the hotel to the La Rambla Avenue, it only takes 10 minutes walking, that's great! Anyway, we can't ask too much for a basic hotel in Barcelona.
