 We were so over joyed when we arrived at this hotel, the style luxury and comfort factor are amazing value for money, you must try the food in the restaurant the servings are huge and very great value, not to expensive and delicious, service second to none. although its a little way out from the heart of the action in athens, its a mere two stops on the underground (metro) or a short bus ride away, much more pleasant than some of the hotels i stayed in close to the flee markets - 11-Aug-2007 We arrived at 10pm after a long flight to discover that they had an overbooking problem and they were taking us to another hotel for the entirety of our stay. They did not bother to call or rearrange with us prior to our arrival even though I had my booking in place for months, so we were quite annoyed. On our final day in Athens we rang the Atrium and requested an airport transfer for our inconvenience and they obliged and sent a taxi free of charge. All in all we had a nice stay at Hotel Illisos which was in a far better location.- 19-Aug-2006 I was very pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Truly like a 5 star based on the room facilities. We've got robes and slipers and the staff was really friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it. Good value.- 09-Jul-2006 |
