 Pedro on the service desk was excellent. hotel basic and a bit tatty but cheap.good location, 200m from beach, but long way if you wanted to experience the nightlife in Lapa- 14-Oct-2009 While the hotel service was good and the staff helpful and the hotel clean and comfortable we found ourselves a bit uneasy with some of the street people in the streets of Rio.
While the sites of Rio are unbelievable, I am not sure whether I will return there due to safety concerns. - 29-Jan-2009 Well located hotel, staff very helpful and speak high level of English (to Brazilian standard).
