 The Astoria is a lovely Hotel to stay in, the location is excellent ie only minutes walk from the centre of Vienna , we were disappointed with the bar facilites, very hard to get a drink in the Hotel after 11pm !!!!!!!!!!!!!!- 31-Jan-2007 We stayed at the Astoria Hotel in July 2006. We loved the friendly staff who were efficient and polite. The hotel has old world charm and our room was spacious and airy. The Astoria is very well located in the pedestrianised zone of Vienna a couple of minutes walk from St. Stephen's Cathedral and lots of other tourist attractions and amenities as well as a tube station. The only minor niggle about this excellent hotel was the fact that our room was not airconditioned which can be a bit overwhelming especially during a heatwave. We'd definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and will be back.- 24-Jul-2006 The hotel is ideally located for a tourist who wishes to see the sights of Vienna.
