 Generally excellent hotel with good & helpful staff on reception desk
Unfortunately, on this last visit breakfast service in the restaurant was poor. No coffee in urn, lack of top-up of hot food trays, etc. Difficulty experienced in finding kitchen staff, who were not on station, to request assistance. Resulted in minimal, top-up to satisfy all guests in the restaurant; then staff would disappear again. in consequence process had to be repeated, just to get more coffee!
To be fair, on a previous visit breakfast service was excellent - 14-Sep-2008 It was such a very pleasant stay and a nice quite surrounding.
