Undergoing refurbishment at time of our visit and the restaurant was not open. Lots of dust around. The hotel abuts a main road and the sound of traffic is very noisy indeed. The windows are not double glazed and the noise is therefore horrendous, even at 1 am! The rooms are quite small and the en suite was tiny. The breakfast room was playing some really terrible piped music on our first morning and it was intrusively loud. This was the last thing we needed after a sleepless night due to the traffic noise. The bedroom desk drawers were ill fitting as well. Overall I was very disappointed with this hotel. Avoid it if you can.- 05-Jun-2008 The hotel was ideally located for the tourist, close to many bars and shops yet far enough away from them not to be a disturbance.- 05-Apr-2008 A good hotel ideally situated near temple bar, although if your bedroom is at the front of the hotel there is traffic noise. Would recommend the resteraunt, great food, also decent bar. Dublin itself though is now very expensive.- 17-Mar-2008 |
