Located in the heart of Port Douglas, the Archipelago Studio Apartments is only 50 metres from the palm-fringed Four Mile Beach and close to the Great Barrier Reef. The apartment is only a five-minute walk to the many world-class restaurants and fine shopping at Marina Mirage.

Lavishly furnished in classic Queensland style, all the apartments are spacious and well-equipped with a host of amenities to make your stay a memorable one. Each of the apartments is privileged with a complete kitchenette and a balcony offering magnificent views of the garden, sea or the swimming pool.

The property does not have restaurant facilities. Several restaurants are available in the surroundings where you can relish a wide variety of local, regional and international cuisine.
General
The large saltwater swimming pool and spa is just the perfect place for a refreshing dip. Sun worshipers will love the sun deck located on the top floor, while the nearby beach is an ideal place to soak up the sun. Be it snorkelling or diving at the Great Barrier Reef or exploring the rainforests of the Daintree and the Cape York wilderness, there are many extraordinary attractions this tropical paradise has to offer you.

 Excellent, quiet location only 50m to the beach and a few minutes walk into the main shopping/restaurant part of Port Douglas. The room was a little dated, but spotlessly clean and with a nice little balcony with views over the water.
We would definitely go back there.- 18-Oct-2007 Archipelago Apartment building is reasonably well located with respect to Pt Douglas main beach and shopping/business centre - both within short walking distance. "Garden" studio rooms are neat and clean but also small with minimum faclities, nil outlook and small high windows. Makes for a quiet room, but not if you are claustrophobic! Like the on site s/pool, beds are also small (doubles) and management are miserly with equipment, towels and the like.
