 The hotel is in the older part of Dubai opposite the very interesting museum. I stayed there in January 2009. There is a bus to Jumeirah beach in the morning (9.45 a.m. which returns at 1.45 p.m.). There is a small swimming pool and a gym at the hotel which may be used at no charge. Other facilities such as the steam room cost money. I chose the hotel because of the good reviews from others and the hotel did live up to what others had reported. I would stay there again especially if I were to be given the same room that I was allocated (an upgrade). - 14-Jan-2009 very nice service, authentic decoration, spacious room, very decent breakfast..with nice museum view, great location of dubai museum and creek. and reasonable price...perfect hotel in dubai- 07-May-2008 The outside of the hotel is not so inviting, but once inside it is a different world. Was warmly welcomed by friendly staff. No problem with my booking. They even wanted to arrange a special breakfast for me as I had a very early morning flight the next day. The room was large, well appointed with nice touches (large bowl of fresh fruit, dates). I felt very confortable. The fitness room was well appointed, and the pool size acceptable. - 04-Apr-2008 |
