My stay at this place was fantastic! The location was perfect for city sightseeing in Grassmarket, nestled under the castle. I loved exploring the unique shops in the area, and being able to walk to the Castle and Royal Mile. The room was spacious, stylish, and clean, with great views of the castle. The bathroom had a powerful shower and a decent-sized bath, and the room had all the amenities I needed for a short stay, including an iron and a coffee machine. The staff were extremely helpful, especially when we had an issue with the heating in our room. They promptly moved us to a new room to ensure our comfort. Despite the bar and restaurant not being open, we were able to use the facilities at the sister hotel next door, and the front desk staff even went out of their way to deliver our bar order to our room. this place provided enhanced comfort and quality services.

I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

As backpackers, we loved the prime location at the base of the castle. The staff were friendly and provided a warm welcome. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a fabulous view. The coffee pod machine was a nice touch.

I recently stayed at this place and I have to say that it was a fantastic experience. First off, the location was perfect. It was right in the center of the old town with everything in walking distance. The cobble stoned streets and historic buildings really made for a memorable stay.

We were pleasantly surprised by our recent stay at Apex. The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a nice view of the castle. The location was excellent, close to all major attractions. We also appreciated the free tea and coffee in the room.

Although there were a few drawbacks, such as the ongoing construction and limited restaurant/bar services, these did not significantly impact our overall experience.
