 This is great hotel for those who have not visited Kyoto before and who are not interested in staying at a traditional ryokan. The APA Horikawadori is a 'Western' style business hotel just a few minutes walk from the Kyoto station. Our room was very small, but clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and spoke English.- 25-Oct-2009 This was a good size room compared to many in Japan. It was located conveniently close to Kyoto Railway Station and bus terminal.
