Location
The Antonine Hotel is located in the centre of Falkirk, with easy access to Glasgow and Edinburgh via motorway connections, each being just 30 minutes drive away.

The guestrooms are designed with a common thread throughout in the use of genuine contemporary interior design by one of Scotland's leading interior designers. Most of the rooms have views that stretch across to the hills at Stirling.

General
Guests on business can avail the on-site conference facilities for their events. At your free time you can visit the places of interest like the Falkirk Wheel, a modern engineering feat, it is also within easy reach of the West Coast of Scotland and within reach of many golf courses, heritage sites and great shopping.
 The food on the Charioteer Brasserie was the best thing about the hotel, the food for the morning breakfast was the worst element. The room was clean but rather basic for a town centre hotel, also the room overlooked a large flat roof which contained several large heating/air conditioning ducts and these vents were heard clearly through the double glazing.- 14-Oct-2008 The hotel must be under new management, this is the first time we have stayed there but it will not be the last. The room we were in could have done with redecorating but was very clean. The breakfast was very good, and you helped yourselves. hing. The shopping centre was a 3 minute walk, very central. We also ate in the restraunt the first evening and the meals were beautiful.- 29-May-2008 I was not impressed with the hotel. It seemed like one woman was running the whole thing - she was helpful most of the time, but overworked. The room was bitterly cold when we arrived and it took a few hours to get it to a tolerable temperature - despite a call to the front desk. Breakfast was slim but edible. A very basic hotel that is presented as more than it is. I didn't think it was a very good deal for the price. - 10-May-2007 |
