Built on the structure of an ancient 1700's century palace, Antico Moro Hotel Venice is located just outside the centre of Mestre. The hotel is excellently connected with Venice, with buses departing every 15 minutes from the hotel to Venice.
Rooms
This hotel is composed of 14 comfortable rooms that welcome the guests with a combination of bright and soft colours combined in the furniture and in the fabrics along with the basic original wooden structure willingly maintained.
Restaurant
In addition, there is also a well-known restaurant-pizzeria called Sotto IL Segno that serves typical meat and fish dishes, available for guests with special prices, right beside the hotel. The hotel also serves a rich buffet breakfast with delicious cakes.
General
The staff offers a high standard of hospitality and courtesy that will make your stay even more enjoyable. Also available is a private closed parking area for guests.

 Breakfast was nice (great cakes!). Great location - 30 metres from the stop for the 1-Euro, 25-minute bus ride to Venice. The hotel will sell you the bus ticket. Don't get a return ticket - your all-day pass for the vaporetto system also covers Mestre buses.
The food and value for money at the restaurant next door - possibly owned by the same people - was not brilliant, but OK.
In fact the only disadvantage of this hotel was the noise from the bar of this restaurant; they played Pink Floyd, loud, until about 11:30pm. I like Pink Floyd and I wasn't trying to get to sleep early, but otherwise it would have been a problem. If this would be an issue for you, ask for a room as far away from the bar as possible.- 14-Oct-2007 A very very comfortable boutique hotel. Beautiful and clean rooms and bathrooms just like any 5 star hotel. Be adviced that the hotel is at Castellana which is on the left hand side of the Tangenziale freeway and not at the Mestre exit. There are regular bus service to Venice. Free parking space behind. Highly recommended for travellers coming by car.
- 26-Feb-2007 The hotel was very nice and had easy access to explore the islands of Venice. The hotel was elegent inside with very nice decorations. The staff helped us find the correct buses to make the 30 minute ride into Venice. The bus stops right outside the hotel. Be sure to buy the 24 hour Venice bus and water taxi pass from the store across the street. The free parking felt safe to leave our new car.- 12-Oct-2006 |
