Location
Built on the structure of an ancient 1700's century palace, Antico Moro Hotel Venice is located just outside the centre of Mestre. The hotel is excellently connected with Venice, with buses departing every 15 minutes from the hotel to Venice.
Rooms
This hotel is composed of 14 comfortable rooms that welcome the guests with a combination of bright and soft colours combined in the furniture and in the fabrics along with the basic original wooden structure willingly maintained.
Restaurant
In addition, there is also a well-known restaurant-pizzeria called Sotto IL Segno that serves typical meat and fish dishes, available for guests with special prices, right beside the hotel. The hotel also serves a rich buffet breakfast with delicious cakes.
General
The staff offers a high standard of hospitality and courtesy that will make your stay even more enjoyable. Also available is a private closed parking area for guests.

 Good hotel. Small breakfast choise and space. But very good decoration/design of the rooms.- 13-Jan-2009 With public transport accessible and friendly hospitality, this quaint hotel is not good value for money, despite having free carparking. With plenty of traffic noise and lack of TV facilities to cater for the non Italian speaking clientelle. I wouldn't stay there again.- 13-Oct-2008 Breakfast was nice (great cakes!). Great location - 30 metres from the stop for the 1-Euro, 25-minute bus ride to Venice. The hotel will sell you the bus ticket. Don't get a return ticket - your all-day pass for the vaporetto system also covers Mestre buses.
The food and value for money at the restaurant next door - possibly owned by the same people - was not brilliant, but OK.
In fact the only disadvantage of this hotel was the noise from the bar of this restaurant; they played Pink Floyd, loud, until about 11:30pm. I like Pink Floyd and I wasn't trying to get to sleep early, but otherwise it would have been a problem. If this would be an issue for you, ask for a room as far away from the bar as possible.- 14-Oct-2007 |
