You get what you pay for. It is a very basic facility holiday accommodation. It is located in a quiet and safe area. It is more suitable for people who knows how to access public transport with short distance walking to the busy area/facilities. I would suggest if the information is available for the guest to have the public transport routes (e.g. bus routes, etc) closed to the hotel- 20-Feb-2009 I enjoyed my stay here. Reasonable pricing and central location - MRT stations are just a short walk away (Yau Ma Tei @ 12mins walk & Mongkok @ 20mins walk). There's also the mini-bus that takes you to the MRT station, if you prefer not to walk. Else, you can take the double-decker to New World Centre (where Avenue of Stars is).
If you are hungry, walk down the road from the hotel and pass the Public Library and cross the busy Waterloo Rd for access to convenience stores, McD's and local HK cafes (you get good breakfast @ Teresa's Cafe).
Highly recommended as rooms are fairly comfortable for 2 persons (not cramped) and very clean. Rooms facing Waterloo Rd is noisy so ask for rooms facing Man Fuk Rd (you only need to bear with someone else's apartment from across your window)...- 10-Feb-2009 One disappointing aspect was that the internet cost 40HKD, while there was a good wireless signal in the rooms, but instead you have to go and rent out the conference room. Apart from that the place is great. close everything and the reception staff are great!- 03-Oct-2008 |
