You need to be aware that there is a further charge for city taxes when staying at the Botel which is not included in the quoted price. - 08-Jul-2009 The Botel is in a good location with a free ferry over to the train station which is in the central part of the city. Breakfast (included) is good, but I think they should offer fruit with it. The rooms are small, but so are most European hotel rooms. The biggest problem I had while staying there was the noise from the gangplank which was right next to my window. I think the other side might be quieter. All in all, the stay was a nice one.- 16-Oct-2008 the botel has moved its location and is now situated in a shipping yard, its got nothing around it and you must catch a ferry to it, these run every 30 minutes but it is just an inconvenience, the rooms were better than i expected and they were clean.
i would go back there simply because the other hotels in amsterdam centre are meant to be worse and we did have a double bed ( not two singles pushed together) if it wasn't for the location it would be a good but not luxury by any means hotel.- 09-Oct-2008 |
