 We stayed on a special weekend package that included breakfast, parking & gift pack and it represented very good value. The hotel is located right at a tram stop so access to the city was great. However we stayed in a room with disabled bathroom facilities and it was very poorly laid out and quite dangerous due to water laying on the floor.- 05-Dec-2007 This hotel is on the outskirts of Melbourne beside the Yarra river. The downtown is easily accessible by tram from outside the hotel. We had pre-booked a river view room. However, the first room we were given when we checked in, did not have a river view and was also right by the noisy main road. After complaining, we were given another room (actually the room next door) which did just about have a river view and was not quite as close to the main road. It was quite a large room with a sitting area. I feel that the Hotel is little overpriced as it is not downtown, but it is convenient for touring the attractions outside Melbourne.- 07-Sep-2005 |
