 very good for the price. The only complaint was that for 2 nights I heard a sound like furniture moving(or dinosaur roaring) from upstairs and I complained about, but nothing was done and realized that it must be something to do with old pipes or faucet creaking sound in a bathroom. Fortunately it was my last 2 nights. - 04-Jun-2008 The Ambassador is certainly not top of the range a little rundown fifties interior), but for the money it offers a decent service, spacious room, friendly staff, bottles of water everyday and a free safe for valuables). The breakfast staff is a little disoriented but there are plenty of breakfast opportunities nearby. The real strong point is its location at easy walking distance of the Alameda Park, the Zocalo and two metro stations. So if you aim to reconnoitre Mexico City and want cheap lodging of decent quality the Ambassador is a good choice.- 21-Dec-2007 Warning: use this hotel ONLY in cases when you think only spend time to sleep. If you are planning stay a long time inside it, it's better you find another one. Good to arrive only at night to sleep. Clean. Bad services on breakfast.
