This hotel is nearby nothing - need a cab to go anywhere and face the notorious Bangkok traffic. The front desk was nice until they realized my other guest was Thai, and suddenly they had a very bad attitude. This must be because everything in the hotel was way overpriced - from bottled water to the bakery outside, you pay 15 times over the normal price. And, being that the other guest was Thai, they knew I would not purchase these things. I had an event at this hotel, so it served that purpose, but would not stay here for vacation. - 20-Apr-2008 This is our fouth stay in the hotel and the main reason is the location, previously we have had a room overlooking the front of the hotel however this time we stayed in a room facing the side which did not have the same aspect but was perfectly acceptyable for the short time we spent in it.
The staff are always very friendly and helpful and the hotel benefits by good restaurants especially the Henry J Beans Bar where we enjoyed an excellent meal during "Happy Hour"
Apparently the new airport link will have a station near the hotel when completed, hopefully next year, this will be another bonus.
We will stay at this hotel the next time we visit Bangkok and probably every time we stay in Bangkok.- 02-Dec-2006 Great room (DELUXE). Wonderful service. The only feedback I have for the hotel and for guests is that when I first arrived at the hotel with all my luggage, the staff immediately took all my luggage. While I appreciated the help, it was a bit disconcerting that these "strangers" took my luggage to a place where I could not see them (behind the front desk I suppose). I was assured that they would be brought to my room (which they were). I kept thinking, "How will they know which room I''m in, since the bags are not tagged with any sort of identification?"- 07-Sep-2005 |
