I had booked and fully paid for a double deluxe room. Upon arrival, I was given a twin room and was told by a receptionist that double deluxe rooms simply did not exist. A manager, however, sorted it out and we were given the room we wanted. Broadband internet is not free, which was a huge letdown. The TVs are outdated and small. My boyfriend and I actually found a wallet under the bed while I was looking for something of mine, which shows that they don't exactly clean the room thoroughly. This hotel was not worth the price paid.- 15-Sep-2007 The interior decore is very modern and has a great pool area.- 16-Dec-2005 I've stayed at this hotel on 5 occasions and keep going back to it each time I go to Singapore because it is a first class hotel with gorgeous rooms, not just a beautiful hall/reception area. It is not near the noisy, touristic part of town (Orchard Rd, 10 min away by taxi) yet it is within walking distance of Clarke & Boat Quays and to Chinatown. The rates are extremely reasonable, it has one of the best bars in Singapore, a small mall within the same block, supermarkets and shops across...
I highly recommend it.- 16-Dec-2005 |
