 The hotel is at Central station, long walking distance for sightseeings. First day at the hotel a receptionist took both passports of me and my husband and said we get them whenever we bring the key of the room back. I had a paid voucher and he still kept our passports in his possession. Besides, he insisted on my credit card number in case of damages. First impression was shocking, we lost mood to do sightseeings. The room did not contain any precious furniture or things we might break or damage:only tiny little TV from 70-s and the beds. We could not dare take shower for 2 nignts not to have *Venice* in the bathroom. Shower was without curtain, just a shower stick in the middle of the bathroom. Breakfast was rediculous: no bread, no cheese, some tiny cookies in packets, half glass orange juice prepared in advance for each person and yogurt. Breakfast at Amadeus hotel is absolutely not buffet!!!! I will not recommend this hotel! - 05-Apr-2008 The guy at reception was very efficient, got our rooms sorted and sent us on an excellent walking tour round the sites of Milan.- 29-Mar-2008 The staff member there when I checked in was very nice and happy, and quite funny. But after that, total abismal service, totally not interrested in anything at all. The Lounge turns into the dining area for breakfast so if you have anyone waiting for you they have to sit amongst others eating which is a bit embarassing. Also apparently its illegal to have visitors in your room, this is a lie! its not illegal at all. Room are typical for Italy. crappy, boring and small... I was hoping for something better from this "more expensive" *** hotel. Poor poor lighting, very nice bathroom... maybe people are supposed to sleep in there? There are so many nicer and cheaper places I have stayed at in the same location, check them out first.- 20-Mar-2008 |
