 we found the hotel to be a very good quality 3+ type hotel providing good clean comfortable stay. staff were very helpfull and the location is excellent and a lot of tourist sites are in walking distance.
$20 cab fare to airport
$8 cab fare to Santosa Island - 05-Jun-2007 I found the reception staff to be quite rude actually and not very helpful. Also, the shopkeeper of the gift shop in the hotel was one of the rudest people I have ever come across. The concierge staff on the other hand were very polite.- 19-Nov-2006 We stayed at the Allson Hotel for nearly 2 weeks and found it pretty ok. the location could not be better, the price was really ok, the breakfast was enyoyable and the hotel and their rooms clean and tidy. If you are not afraid of heights as I am ;-), then go for a room at the 10th floor or above, they are a bit more quiet. The only drawback in my opinion was the a bit noisy aircondition, but that is just my subjective opinion.
If you are searching for a reasonable budget hotel, you can not do anything wrong by choosing the Allson Hotel.- 09-Aug-2006 |
