 hi, stayed in executive suite:
bad things: big puddle of liquid soap under the soap dispenser on the vanity in the bathroom; no plug for sink in bathroom; buttons on LCD tv swapping function randomly eg. volume actually doing channels at times etc.; GOOD THINGS: great size fridge & it even had ice in the trays!; microwave & kitchen utensils good; great outdoor area outside room; great pool & allowed to drink in there. Staff could be a little more informative at reception, eg. re activities & new years eve possibilities. All up - will return! - 07-Jan-2009 I very much enjoyed our stay on Magnetic Island. The staff and people are very willing to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. - 15-Jul-2005 Unsophisticated but comfy chalet hotel. Service in the restaurant was very slow and the food was extremely hit and miss with oversized portions. Each main course could comfortably have fed two which is such a waste! I would have preferred smaller portions more imaginatively presented.
Good swimming pool and we had a good break.
