 One bedside lamp wasn't plugged in, (very difficult to reach the socket, and when we did, there was no light bulb). Refrigerator wasn't plugged in, and one of the sockets was faulty. Maid service was very good, bath itself had the inner paint peeling in some places. Towels for bathing or showering were very small, needed two to dry yoursef. Otherwise I would use it again. - 24-Jul-2009 We stood at the Alamo on Memorial Day weekend and the hotel was almost perfect. I had read many reviews so I took my own linens and towels but they were not truly necessary. The comforter was clean as well as the room and bathroom. The lady at the front desk and the service women were very polite and answered all of our questions. If you are planning on going in the pool or spa I recommend you bring a large pool towel.
