 We stayed at this hotel in the fall of 2004, planning to visit Heraklion and Gnossos. As we had rented a car, it was a convenient location for touring. It was also a tourist area, near beaches and with many of the usual amenities nearby. We found a group of English tourists who had bought a package, which included this hotel and meals at a nearby restaurant. We had breakfast included in our hotel rate, but dined out at different restaurants nearby. The hotel is simple, but with a wonderful staff, who were extremely friendly and helpful.
