Good location close to some great local bars and restaurants you definately need to get a water taxi if arriving at night as the hotel would be difficult to find in the dark. Rooms were well decoratated and very clean the hotel had its quirky features, like walking through a 'tent corridor' to reach rooms located at the back - all in all very adequate for our needs - would definately use this hotel again- 27-Dec-2007 Lovely hotel but quite expensive for what you got. Booked a superior room as special treat but not sure if we got a superior or standard room. Thought orange juice as an extra on the breakfast menu was a bit mean of the hotel in light of what we had paid already. Bar drinks excessively expensive. One drink the price of a whole bottle round the corner. So not really value for money.- 18-Apr-2006 The location is absolutely perfect, alongside a quiet canal, a few minutes walk off the beaten track you arenot in the thronging tourist-zone.
The hotel doesn't have a restaurant (it does a lovely breakfast tho'), but there are plenty of nice, authentic bars & restaurants around, the Antica Mola on Fondamenta Misericordia being one.
Shame our room was a bit dark & didn't have a view, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would use this hotel again.- 02-Apr-2006 |
