 Very good location on the town's central square, right at the foot of the main funicular. Rooms clean, with acceptable (tight) facilities, and well serviced, but hotel needs overall renovation - tired in design. Breakfast is included and a good range is offered. Staff appear generally bored, and are of little assistance - but who needs staff?- 24-May-2008 The lady at reception was very helpful and kind. But the bed was horrible, small, old and made lot of noise. I didn't dare to turn my body in order not to wake up my husband. For honey mooners like us are really not ideal.- 25-May-2007 Hotel is very convenient to the railway in Lugano being connected
to the station by the funicular. We were on the 4th floor so we were not affected by the noise of the funicular. Hotel is over an outdoor cafe which is a bit noisy but the convenience makes up for it. Reception spoke good english and were very helpful. The decor is very brown and oldstyle but the room was very clean with all the essentials. Hotel is also within easy walking distance of the Lugano downtown lakefront with good restaurants and shops.- 17-May-2007 |
