Ideally located on Paihia's exclusive waterfront in the true heart of the Bay of Islands, the Abel Tasman Lodge is uniquely nestled against a bush clad reserve, the Bluff on one side and is just a short 1-2 minute stroll along the waterfront to the right.

This property offers room that are well appointed with contemporary amenities and are complete with a self contained kitchen. Most of the rooms are positioned so that you can enjoy a lovely sea vies of the Bay.

General
You can relax and swim at the beach across the road from the Lodge while you keep an eye out for the dolphins that are sometimes seen offshore playing in the Bay. If you have children, there is a large children's playground located on the grassed beach reserve. For the more active and adventurous, at this location during the summer months, you can usually hire a jet ski or a kayak so that you can get out on the water and enjoy. The lodge also has an extensive tour desk onsite that will provide you with tour information to help you select the best Cruises which will meet your requirements.
