Location
The "Melanchthon-Town" Bretten is located about 20km east of Karlsruhe and 50km south of Heidelberg. The hotel itself is located on the edge of the historical city centre of Bretten. The urban railway station is within walking distance (5 min). From there you have connections to Karlsruhe and Baden Baden.

Rooms
Rooms are medium in size, decorated with white walls and blue carpets. The large windows give the rooms a bright and friendly atmosphere. The furniture is of light wood and rooms are in very good condition. The bathrooms are small with white tiles and also in very good condition.

Restaurant
The hotel has a breakfast room on the first floor which is quite elegantly decorated in bright colors and wooden furniture and which has panorama windows which gives the room a unique bright and friendly atmosphere. There is directly adjoining the hotel a German restaurant "Loewenhof" with culinary delights from local cuisine and freshly home-brewed beer. The restaurant has a rustic style with real wooden furniture and wooden paneled walls and ceiling.

General
The hotel is a fantastic choice to explore the native town of Phillip Melachthon with its historic city centre. Bretten is furthermore the gateway to the hilly countryside between the Black Forest and Oden Forest.
